The Hostaria “Oca Bianca” is a small delightful place located in the middle of the Lombardy region, near Bergamo, which is a town deserving a visit if you love history and art.
Francesca and Marcello have created it on their own idea of a restaurant. Marcello is explaining their idea.
When we started thinking about Oca Bianca was our desire to offer a warm, welcoming and cheerful place, offering simple dishes from regional and seasonal cuisine.
Marcello in the kitchen and Francesca in the room will make you feel at home. Guests can enjoy bread and pastries prepared fresh daily, first choice Piedmont meat and fresh fish dishes. Before a good coffee, you can not waive the desserts prepared every day with love by Francesca. And wines are also chosen with attention and offered in a wide variety.
I resolve to sponsor the “Oca Bianca” inviting all my guests to give it a visit during one of their trips to Italy when I tasted their “Tirolian Canederli with delicate Goulash” that left me overwhelmed by the perfect balance of tastes and consistency.
Marcello says the recipe is a secret he combined upon the experience of his mother and grandmother together with his continuous curiosity and exploration of new dishes and cuisines.
